SAGE – Regional Centre for Sustainable Adaptation to Global Change in the Middle East. This centre will be established at the University of Jordan in Amman, a process led by Eberhard Karls University Tübingen and funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Foreign Office, and involves partners from the region and Germany. It was developed in the previous project CASCADE (see below).

EU Horizon2020 Projekt "Migration Governance and Asylum Crises" (MaGyC). Leitung des Arbeitspakets zu "Comparing Crises: Lessons from «migration crises» in North Africa, the Middle East and the Greater Horn of Africa". International Konsortium mit Partner aus Europa und Nahost.

2017 – 2018
Forschungsprojekt "CASCADE – Co-Resilience Of Natural And Social Systems In A Global Biodiversity Hotspot", finanziert vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF). Transdisziplinäres Konsortium bestehend aus wissenschaftlichen Partnern aus Deutschland, Palästina, Jordanien und Israel sowie diversen Stakeholdern aus dem Jordanbecken.
